July 12 Volunteer Day

To help ensure smooth sailing, please note the following:  

• Arrive at designated time to ensure efficiency of the farm and to get everyone on the same page
• Tools and gloves will be provided for you during your volunteer time
• Wear close-toed shoes (no sandals or open-toed shoes) It’s required while working on the farm, so that we all stay injury-free
• Wear weather-appropriate clothing. This means warm layers on cooler days, and hats/ sunscreen on hot, sunny days
• Be safe. We want to work hard and efficiently, while also remaining injury-free. Drink water, take breaks, and pace yourself as needed
• Do not be afraid to ask questions! If you're curious about something, need further direction, or are unclear on a task, just ask
