Friday, May 2 Volunteer Day
Join us at Lancaster Farmacy for a morning of volunteering! We will be working on a spring harvest of stinging nettle. Dress in long sleeves, pants, and closed toed boots, stinging nettle can cause temporary skin irritation. Rain or Shine unless notified!

About the event
To help ensure smooth sailing, please note the following:
Arrive at designated time to ensure efficiency of the farm and to get everyone on the same page
Tools and gloves will be provided for you during your volunteer time
Wear close-toed shoes (no sandals or open-toed shoes) It’s required while working on the farm, so that we all stay injury-free
Wear weather-appropriate clothing. This means warm layers on cooler days, and hats/ sunscreen on hot, sunny days
Be safe. We want to work hard and efficiently, while also remaining injury-free. Drink water, take breaks, and pace yourself as needed
