Friday, July 18 Volunteer Day : Milky Oats Harvest! 9am-12pm
Join us at Lancaster Farmacy for special community harvest of our milky oat tops! With all the rains it has matured and is ready to pick. We will teach you about this amazing nervine tonic herb. We will have to cancel if it is raining.

About the event
To help ensure smooth sailing, please note the following:
Arrive at designated time to ensure you get orientated
Tools and gloves will be provided for you during your volunteer time. Feel free to bring your own gloves if you have them.
Wear close-toed shoes (no sandals or open-toed shoes) It’s required while working on the farm, so that we all stay injury-free
Wear weather-appropriate clothing. This means warm layers on cooler days, and hats/ sunscreen on hot, sunny days
Be safe. We want to work hard and efficiently, while also remaining injury-free. Drink water, take breaks, and pace yourself as needed
