Frequently Asked Questions
Orders & Shipping
Q: When will you ship once I’ve ordered?
A: Usually we ship twice a week; on Tuesdays and Thursdays. As long as you place an order
by noon (EST) on those days, your order will usually get shipped on the same day as well. We ship
more frequently at certain holidays when we offer special gift sets and Christmas when there
is a deadline to guarantee delivery.
Q: Why do you charge so much for shipping?
A: Our shipping charge goes directly to USPS for their Priority Mail service.
On top of their fast delivery, they also offer insurance that will help in case a package is lost
or damaged during transit.
Q: I live nearby and don’t want to pay for shipping. Can I pick up my order at your farm?
A: We offer pick up service from spring through part of fall. At checkout, you’ll have an option
to choose Local Pickup. We will contact you to schedule a pick up time on either Tuesday or
Thursday between 10am and 3 pm. Our address is: 397 Letort Road, Millersville, PA 17551.
If you don’t see the Local Pickup option, it means it’s being suspended for the time being.
Q: Why can’t I see the Local Pick Up option?
A: You can usually choose the Local Pick Up option on the checkout page.
When you can’t see that option, it means we have suspended that service for the time being;
usually during the colder months when we have severe weather or the difference between the
temperature of where we keep our products and that of where you pick up (on a covered
porch) is too great.
Q: Are there any stores in Lancaster, PA that carry your products?
A: In downtown Lancaster, PA, you can find some of our products at Lemon Street Market,
Ellister’s Elixirs, Susquehanna Apothecary, Amanita Cafe, & Custom Prescriptions of
Lancaster. Prices may vary.
Our Farm Store at 397 Letort Road, Millersville, PA is also open on Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm,
offering a limited selection of our products. Cash and Venmo only. You'll see it at the end of our driveway.
Our Products
Q: Your Healing Salve is included in the Unite For Her Care Box. Do you offer discounts
for UFH members?
A: At the moment, we do not offer discounts to UFH members.
We’re a small farm. To make our products affordable to more people, we keep our profit
margin very slim. We hope you'll understand.
Q: I received a Healing Salve and it seems to have all dried up. Is it still good to use?
A: Our Healing Salve is a salve that contains beeswax; it is not soft like a cream. You can use a
Q tip to scratch back and forth and down into the salve. You can scoop some up and put it
between your palms to warm and soften it. On cold days, it would seem to be harder. You can
always put your salve closer to a heat source to soften it. Closer to; NOT heat it by any
means.
Q: Is there caffeine in any of your teas?
A: No, all of our teas are herbal and naturally caffeine free! So you can drink the tea as late
as you'd like without it disrupting your sleep.
Q: I saw pictures of beautiful bouquets on your website. Do you ship them?
A: We sell most of our flower bouquets through the Lancaster Farm Fresh
Cooperative's Flower CSA Share and you can choose a CSA pick up location.
The season typically runs June through October. https://lancasterfarmfresh.com
We also sell them on our website during the growing season and they are for pick up only.

Q: Do you offer a physical Gift card or certificate?
A: At the moment, we only offer electronic gift cards on our website:
https://www.lancasterfarmacy.com/gift-card. You can select the dollar amount you prefer. Or select Gift Sets on the top menu and when the dropdown menu appears, you’ll see “Gift Cards.”
Our Herbs

Q: Do you sell herbs purchased from other places?
A: We only sell herbs that are grown on our farm.

Q: Do you have soil test done? Or tested for heavy metals?
A:We get soil tests done every year for our certifier* and have never seen heavy metal traces. The majority of our herb fields are located in a field that has been in cover crop for over 20 years so we are safe in that department.

Our Farm
Q: Can I visit your farm?
A: We are a working farm and not usually open for visits. We’re usually busy in the fields and
making the products you like. Imagine people turning up to visit your office when you’re
busy working! Having said that, we do have special events and offer farm tours once in a
while. You can also sign up for volunteering day and work side by side with us.
Please check under Happenings on our website. Also, follow us on Facebook and Instagram,
or sign up for our newsletter so that you won’t miss any of our announcements.
Q: Do you have a brick and mortar store?
A: We do have an honor-system Farm Store with a selection of our products. Here're our hours:
Opens: Saturday 10am-3 pm
Closed: Sunday through Friday
Cash & Venmo only.
